Retrofit Assessments

Retrofit Assessments

What is a Retrofit Assessment?

A Retrofit Assessment is in accordance with the introduction of the PAS 2035 standards framework, part of the government's promise to reach net zero by the year 2050 . It involves a whole house approach being taken when planning and installing energy efficient measures.

The assessment is carried out by our Trustmark accredited assessors which involves gathering vital data about the property.

The information gathered during the assessment will then be passed on to an installer and a Retrofit Coordinator so they can generate an improvement plan specifically for your property.

What is involved?

Our assessors will visit your property to conduct the assessment. While they are there they will collect information on the age and type of property, current energy measures installed and whether the property is properly ventilated. The assessor will also take photographs of the property during the assessment which is used for the report.

When do I need one?

All Retrofit installers working in accordance with PAS 2035:2019 require a Retrofit Assessment to be carried out before the installation of any measures.
